Jim Higgins is the managing member of J. Higgins Holdings and Higgins Construction Services.

 

He is an award winning real estate developer and custom residential builder with over a decade’s worth of experience. Jim has managed new construction, renovation and development of multiple projects totaling over $50,000,000 in the Northeast.

 

Prior to founding J. Higgins Holdings and Higgins Construction Services, he founded Coastal Point Construction, a general contracting and construction management firm specializing in custom residential projects in Fairfield and Westchester Counties. He managed several high-end, technically sophisticated single family home projects.

 

Before the inception of Coastal Point Construction, Jim co-founded Northstar Property, a privately held residential and commercial real estate development firm. He managed all investment and development activities for the Connecticut area.

 

Mr. Higgins received a Master of Science from the Graduate School of Fine Arts at the University of Pennsylvania in Historic Preservation. In addition, he received a Certificate in Real Estate Design and Development, a joint program between The Wharton School and the Graduate School of Fine Arts. Jim is a graduate of The University of Vermont where he earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Economics and Environmental Studies. He is a certified green builder.
